Not every rider wants to read the manufacturer's own account of a wheelset. This section collects reviews and ride reports written by people who do not work for TOCCAY, alongside the raw material riders have sent us from their own workshops and roads.

The most detailed independent assessment we host is the Cyclists Hub review of the AERO-60 Ghost. It combined workshop inspection, independent weight checks and road testing, and it came back with 4.3 out of five — published as written, including the parts that are not flattering. We also keep a write-up of the GC Performance video review, which works through rim width and hub design on the bench with calipers and a scale. An assessment made outside our own development process tells you more than anything we could write about ourselves, so we host these rather than paraphrase them.

Alongside the third-party reviews, this section holds rider-supplied material. The unboxing-to-road clip follows one rider through the whole process: opening the packaging, checking spoke tension in a truing stand, fitting tyres, inflating, and taking the wheels out onto the road. The real build notes then show TOCCAY wheelsets on frames from other brands, with the measurements that matter when you are working out whether a wheelset will suit your own bike.

What we do not do here is average scores into a rating of our own, or quietly drop an unfavourable finding. If a reviewer notes that a deep rim needs attention in a crosswind, that observation stays in. Anyone comparing wheelsets is better served by a candid note than a polished one.
