WHY AERO-40 STEEL
The AERO-40 Steel pairs a versatile 40mm carbon rim with a listed 1200g pair weight and conventional steel spokes. It is the practical road build for riders who want quick handling and climbing-friendly weight with straightforward spoke service.
A balanced road build: Toray T1100 carbon fiber fabric provides the rim platform, while steel spokes bring a familiar ride character and broad workshop serviceability. The 40mm depth remains composed across climbs, rolling terrain and changeable wind.
Positive 36T engagement: The 36T ratchet hub uses opposing toothed faces that engage across multiple teeth under drive. Sealed bearings and a serviceable architecture support consistent engagement and long-term maintenance.
Best suited to: road riders who prefer a shallow, responsive rim and the practical serviceability of a conventional steel-spoke wheelset.
