WHY AERO-50 STEEL
All-round depth, conventional serviceability.
The AERO-50 Steel combines a versatile 50mm carbon rim with a listed 1260g pair weight and steel spokes. It is designed as a dependable all-round road option rather than a wheelset limited to one terrain or one day.
A practical performance platform: Toray T1100 carbon fiber fabric gives the rim its structural base, while conventional steel spokes provide familiar workshop serviceability. The 50mm depth balances climbing usability with added speed on rolling and flatter roads.
Positive 36T engagement: Opposing toothed faces in the 36T ratchet hub engage across multiple teeth to distribute drive load. The serviceable mechanism and sealed bearings support consistent use through training, group rides and longer road miles.
Best suited to: road riders who want one 50mm wheelset for varied routes and value the familiar maintenance of steel spokes.
